Watching a documentary on the oil industry in Alaska. Why?

Hazel will find upon her doorstep a small white box addressed to her. Within, wrapped in copious amounts of tissue paper, rests a series of delicate looking and handmade seashell bangles. Also within the box is a handwritten note that reads quite simply:

[ About half a day after Newt announces the cure to CRAZY ZOMBIE PLAGUE, and things are starting to settle, Hazel might notice a set of house keys on the kitchen table. No note, no explanation, but the few belongings Kangmo had in her room are now gone too. ]
[she notices as she's doctoring the injured kitchen chair up with wicker print duct tape and grabs the keys instead of the new roll. it's a surprise to see them there - she'd never have expected Kangmo to do something so indicative of a guilty conscience.
for the moment, Hazel thinks she'll accept his gesture. she knows Suzuya is no longer in this world and thus doesn't feel bad taking the opportunity to have some breathing room before she can make a real decision on this.

Standing in the middle of Hazel's living room following the peek into her sketchbook, Josuke wonders this but doesn't reach an answer. The usual teasing is his best guess, as that seems to bring them to comfortable places as often as it does strange and unusual ones. And this one is definitely...strange.
He sighs, throwing himself down on the sofa, the cushions giving a little more beneath his weight than they would hers which inevitably has him squished back and looking...mildly more pouty than he means to.]
